4Can NRIs legally buy property in India?
Yes, NRIs can purchase residential and commercial properties. However, buying agricultural land, farmhouses, or plantation property is restricted unless acquired through inheritance or with special RBI permission.
5What documents are required to buy a property in India?
You will typically need: Valid passport, PAN card, Overseas address proof, Power of Attorney (if not in India), NRE/NRO bank account details.
6Can I sell property in India if I live abroad?
Yes. You can sell your Indian property as an NRI. We assist with the sale process, including marketing, legal checks, negotiation, and paperwork. A Power of Attorney can be used if you're not in India.
